If you are looking for an easy side hustle that you can do from your phone, you may have seen blog post after blog post telling you how you can make hundreds of dollars from survey apps and cashback apps. However, they are not telling you the whole story. Here is the truth–you really can make money with survey apps, and you can save A LOT of money with cashback apps, but most people are making most of their money by getting people to sign up for these 

Apps, not by actually using them. 

This is a side hustle that literally EVERYONE in the make-money niche is doing, but no one is talking about it. And you can do it too! 

Here’s how–

1. Go to your phone’s app store (or check the list below)
2. Find a cashback app or survey app
3. Download it
4. Find the link that says “refer a friend” or “referrals.” 
5. Share the link just like you would any other link

This is basically affiliate marketing, but unlike most affiliate marketing, the person you are referring to doesn’t have to buy anything, and they usually get a cash reward or points toward a gift card. Plus, some cashback apps pay up to $50 a referral, depending on the time of year! That’s why this is such a popular side hustle. Everyone loves free money!

Here Are My 12 Favorite Apps With Amazing Referal Programs

These are the apps that I refer people to. If you consistently promote these apps, you can actually make quite a bit of money. A few referrals per day can easily add up to $100 per day, especially if you refer new dog walkers to Rover or get a few people to sign up for cash-back apps. However, do your research before downloading any app.

Cash Back Apps

Cashback apps are a great way to get started with affiliate marketing because they often have high referral rewards. Rewards fluctuate during the year, with many apps offering higher bonuses during the holiday season. 

1. Rakuten-up to $40

Rakuten is a cashback app with one of the highest-paying referral programs of any app, with referrals as high as $40 per qualified referral. This rate varies by season. 

2. Be Frugal-up to $40

Be Frugal is similar to Rakuten in that it allows you to earn cashback at online stores like Target, Amazon, and more. Plus, you can get as much as $40 per referral. 

3. TopCashBack-up to $30

TopCashBack is another app that’s similar to Rakuten. I use these for myself, in addition to promoting them, because you can really save big when you use these apps. 

4. Brand Club-up to $12

Brand Club is a cash-back app that allows you to connect all the rewards programs from different brands into one app. You can also take surveys with Brand Club, and there are a few other ways to earn and save. 

5. Dosh-up to $10

Dosh is one of my favorite apps because all you have to do is link your credit card, and it finds savings for you. There are no receipts to scan or offers to opt into. 

6. Lolli-up to $5 bonus

Lolli is similar to Dosh. When you buy something in-store, you’ll get points back. To get points back online, you can activate offers in the app. 

Gig Apps & Survey Apps 

7. Rover-up to $50

You can make money with Rover in two ways. First, you can actually walk dogs, which sounds like a great way to stay in shape and play with cute pets, or you can 

8. Field Agent-10% up to $10

Field Agent is a popular mystery shopping app that lets you earn cash by going to different stores and answering a few questions about products in those stores. It also pays you 10% of what your referrals earn, up to $10. 

9. Eureka-$0.25 + 10%

Eureka bills itself as the fastest way to make $5 online, and I really did make $5 in a few minutes on this app, so that was awesome. It has surveys, and it also rewards you for playing or even downloading certain apps. Of all the apps on this list, I like using Eureka and Rewardy the best. Plus, it has a great referral program. 

10. AttaPoll-$0.50 + 10% 

AttaPoll is not my favorite app. It feels like just a basic survey app, but it’s not bad if you are already promoting survey apps. It pays $0.5 + 10%.

11. PollPay-$0.25 +25%

PollPay is very similar to AttaPoll, but a little bit better. I found the surveys to be a little bit higher paying, but that just might be my experience. 

12. Rewardy-5%

Rewardy is one of my favorite apps to use for a little cash. It pays you to download and play different games, but it can be tricky to promote since it doesn’t really give you an affiliate link, just a code. The Secret to Making Even More Money With Apps

Want to find out how to make even more with app affiliate marketing? Here is what I would do. I would create a freebie in Canva. That could be anything from a list like “25 Best Cashback Apps” or “25 Ways to Save Money On Groceries.” I’ve also seen things like “$25 a Week Meal Plan.” Then add your referral links to your freebie. 

Then you can create an email list sign-up form for free in AWeber and send people to your sign-up page. After people sign up for your email list, you can send them even more apps to try.
