Day 5: How to Set Up Your Secret Weapon

Do you want to know the one thing that all big companies have, including Children’s Place? It’s an email list, and this is where the magic happens. This is how courses and even businesses like Children’s Place sell on autopilot, and it’s essential for busy moms because you only have to set it up once, and it can run forever.

See, most people need to see an offer 7-10 times before they buy, and you can’t rely on social media or search engine algorithms to show people your content that many times.

However, you can do that automatically with an email list. When you focus on building your email list, you can set up a series of emails once that highlight all your best posts, affiliate offers, and more. This ensures that more people will see more of your posts, so you can write fewer posts while more people opt-in to the offers your blog is promoting.

Then, all you have to do is drive people to your email list. I love AWeber because it’s free up to 500 contacts. So here is how you are going to do it:

Step 1: Create a money-making freebie

This is what you are going to use to get people on your email list. You can use free Canva templates to create a freebie that solves a micro problem and promotes your offers. You can even add affiliate links to your freebie to make money with it.

Step 2: Create a Sign-Up Page for Your Freebie

Create a signup page for your freebie in AWeber where people can enter their email in exchange for your freebie. See how to do it here. You can then add this link to your blog’s menu, your link-in-bio on social media, and your Stan Store.

Step 3: Set Up an Email Campaign

Set up an email campaign that automatically sends an email with your freebie to anyone who subscribes. See how here. You can also add 7-10 emails that your subscribers will get after they sign up to keep promoting your offer.

There you have it. You are all done. Now, you can either add emails to your campaign or  send your list an email whenever you have a new blogpost! Want to see what’s next? Check out Day 6!
