If you are a mom, you know how challenging it is to find quality and affordable childcare, especially if you have more than one kid. Working at home could be a great option for you, but it can be just as hard to find work-at-home jobs that don’t suck. You might find a great opportunity, but you need to spend $500 or even $2,500 on a course to get started. That’s why I rounded up the 25 easiest ways to make money from home without buying and reselling an expensive course.

This guide is for anyone who wants to make money from home. You DO not need any experience to begin most of the jobs listed here. All of these positions have decent or even great earning potential, and most can be done on your own time. But the best part is that you do not need to buy a $500 or $2,000 course to get started.

You can set up most of these side hustles right in Stan Store, which means you don’t need any tech skills to get started. Want to try my favorite side hustle? Check it out here!

1-Start a Stan Store

This is one of my favorite ways to make money from home since it only takes a few minutes to set up, and it‘s actually five side hustles in one. You can sell courses, digital products, and subscriptions, promote affiliate links, and collect emails. All you have to do is log into Stan Store and start adding products.

2-Email Affiliate Marketing

Email marketing is another favorite. Basically, you find a product to promote. Then, you create a freebie in Canva that introduces that offer and use a free AWeber account to build a landing page and email opt-in. Then, drive traffic to your freebie with Pinterest or TikTok. Once you have people on your list, you can share other offers they will love.

3-Create a Course

Have you ever uploaded a video to social media? Then you can create a course in Stan Store, and no, you don’t have to be an expert. All you have to do is film course modules on your iPhone, add slides in Canva, and upload them to Stan Store. It’s that easy.

4-Create a Subscription

Subscriptions are popular alternatives to courses because you can charge a few dollars a month instead of a lump sum upfront. It’s a creative way to create a course, start a membership in a Facebook group, sell books or short stories, or anything else. The sky is the limit. You can set it upright in Stan Store.

5-Sell PLR Digital Products

PLR digital products are digital products that you can buy once and resell as your own. StanStore is actually a really great place to sell these products. Here are some of mine:

6-Promote Coupon & Apps

This is a side hustle that no one is talking about. Coupon apps like Rakutan pay up to $40 per qualified referral. The best part is that it’s free for you and your referrals. In most cases, they will get bonuses for signing up too. All you have to do is download the app, sign up for an account, find the referral link, and start promoting them, just like you’d promote any other product. Some good ones include:

7-Promote Survey Apps

This one is very similar to promoting coupon apps, but many of these survey apps have made the deal even sweeter. They will give you a bonus every time someone signs up for their app, and they will give you a percentage of everything your referrals earn. Some good ones include:

8-SaaS Affiliate Marketing

SaaS products are software as a subscription products, which sounds more complicated than it is. Basically, they are products like Stan Store or Wix that provide a software service that people subscribe to. SaaS affiliate marketing is one of my favorite side hustles because you are promoting things that people really need to make money, like online stores, websites, and more. Some of my favorites include Go High Level, StanStore, System.io, and Master Resell Rights. (Not the Roadmap with MMR!)

9-Local SEO With Go High Level

About 90% of people use Google or Bing to find local stores and services (think plumbing, lawyers, doctors, etc.) So, it‘s important that these businesses show up on Google. Go High Level helps people do that. When you become a Go High-Level affiliate, you can help local businesses do that.

10-Start a Blog

This is actually how 1000 Ways To WAHM started. Starting a blog is still a great way to make money in 2023 because there are multiple ways to make money with a blog. You can try affiliate marketing, run ads, and even create your own digital products.

11-Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants can actually offer many of the services on this list, including social media marketing, transcription, and more. You can also offer services like data entry, bookkeeping, and more. Companies like Assistant Match and 24/7 Virtual Assistants are always hiring, or you can sell your services on a site like Fiverr.

12-Freelance Writing

The sky is the limit when you choose writing as a career. There are thousands of companies actively seeking people to create content, write blog posts, and even create product descriptions. You don’t even need experience or a degree. Places like Wordgigs and A List Apart hire writers with no experience to produce great content!

13-Teaching ESL

These jobs typically require a TESOL or other ESL certification, and many require a college degree, but otherwise, they are pretty flexible and pay well. Magic Ears is a great choice!

14-Translation

If you know a second language, there are dozens of companies looking for your services. CyraCom is a great company that pays well and can help you connect with clients! Some translators make more than $100,000 per year, making it a great choice!

15-Social Media Marketing

As a social media marketer, you would be managing the social media accounts of different brands, businesses, and entrepreneurs. You have the option to get your own clients, set up a gig on Fiverr, or work for a company like $99Social or The Social Element.

16-Pinterest Marketer

Pinterest is a very unique website, as it is both a visual search engine and a social media site. It allows small businesses to be found by more people. As a Pinterest marketer, your job would be to help these businesses become more visible on this site. Pinterest VA is a great place to get started, as it helps you connect with clients.

17-Graphic Design With Canva

Did you know that you don’t need a graphic design degree or even Photoshop skills to get started in graphic design? All you need is a simple editing program like Canva and some creativity. Canva has a bunch of great templates for all sorts of projects, including book covers, and there are many great sites to sell your services on!

18-Dropshipping With Shopify

Have you ever wanted to own your own online store? You might want to consider dropshipping. Basically, you create a website or other online store and connect it to a platform like Shopify. They help you find great products to sell and then fulfill the orders for you, so you never need to have any inventory!

19-Create POD Products With Printify

This is a fun idea for people who are kind of creative but kind of not. (Like me.) Basically, you design, market, and sell items like t-shirts and mugs. Then, a company like Printify or Gearbubble fulfills the orders. You are responsible for promoting your items, so it takes a bit of work, but it can become a great stream of passive income. These companies both allow you to sell on Amazon, Etsy, or on your own website.

20-Handmade Items With Etsy

If you are super crafty, you can make handmade items and sell them on your own website or on a platform like Etsy. This isn’t quite passive income, but it can be a great way to turn a passion into a way to make some extra cash.

21- Sell Life Insurance

I was surprised to see insurance jobs that were considered entry-level, but many companies like New York Life hire and train for both claims processing and sales. It’s an in-demand field, the pay is decent, and it could be a great opportunity.

22-Flip Items on eBay

Are you a collector of vintage toys or a lover of garage sales? You might want to consider buying and selling used and vintage items on eBay, Mercari, and other sites! You can try books, baby items, vintage toys, and more.

23-Dog Walking

Do you love playing with cute pups, kitties, and even farm animals? It might be time to try dog walking. You can do this on an app like Rover, or you can offer your own services.

24-Web Testing

This is one that surprised me when I first heard about it, but it’s a pretty cool concept. Here’s how it works–websites have a lot of moving parts and links to other pages and websites. As a website tester, you would test these links to ensure that they all work and that the site is easy to navigate. You can offer this on Fiverr or set it up in Stan Store.

25-Gig Seller

If you don’t see anything that catches your eye, you might want to consider creating your own gig on Fiverr. The possibilities are endless—you can become a ghostwriter, do tarot card readings, offer event planning, become a coach, and more. I have a beta reading gig on Fiverr, where I read books for self-published authors to catch any plot holes and mistakes before they publish.

Want to save money on transaction fees? Set up your gig on Stan Store and use social media to send traffic. This can save you thousands of dollars a year. Looking for even more entry-level side hustle? Check out 25 things that you can start promoting today.
