Discover Tons of Amazing Legitimate Remote Jobs for Moms!
(Or let those employers find you with this crafty little remote work secret!)
Cut Through the Junk With a Reputable Employment Agency
So I was at my mom’s house working a few months ago, and my sister asked me what I was doing. I told her that I was writing about remote jobs for moms, and she said, “Why don’t they just use an employment agency?”
Yea, that’s probably a good idea, and yes, plenty of employment agencies are looking to fill entry-level positions and positions that may not require a lot of experience! Plus, many times, these agencies can get you a “try-it-before-you-buy-it” temp contract to see if you’d like to work at the company long-term.

How Does an Employment Agency Work?
Ok, here’s how this whole thing works–when companies need a position filled fast, they pay an employment agency to find people for them right away. The employment agency then posts the job. You submit your resume and if you are a good fit, you’ll get a callback. If not, the agency will have your resume on file for when a better fit comes along.
Why Choose an Employment Agency?
One potential drawback to employment agencies is that a lot of the jobs are temp work, but that’s actually can be a blessing in disguise. This can be a great way to gain experience, build your resume, and make new contacts.
Some employment agencies also guarantee their clients (the hiring company) that they will provide quality candidates (you!) within 24 hours. Plus, since the company pays, you have nothing to lose and some agencies will provide training!
So Who Are These Employment Agencies?
I’ve rounded up ten of the best employment agencies that are known to be great companies!
Keep in mind that not all of the jobs they are hiring for will be remote, but many are. Some do hire all remote or specialize in these positions. To see even more great employment agencies, check out my book 1000 Ways to WAHM!
Here are 10 great employment agencies that hire remote workers:
1-24 Seven-24 Seven specializes in helping people find jobs in marketing. While not all their jobs are remote, marketing is typically a remote-friendly field, especially if you are a copywriter, content marketer or in another similar field.
2-Adecco-Adecco is a popular employment agency that helps employers in a wide range of industries find candidates, including healthcare, accounting, and more. They currently have 5,000 jobs listed, and while they aren’t all remote, they do have jobs that are both remote and entry-level.
3-Aerotek-Aerotek is similar to Adecco in that it has many (but not all) remote and entry-level positions available. Some of the industries they work with include energy, construction, customer service, and healthcare. They are actually also able to place government jobs, which not all companies do.
FlexProfessionals is a super cool company founded by three women who wanted to create a staffing agency for people seeking flexible and part-time positions (aka moms) and the companies that wanted to hire them.
Similar to FlexProfessionals, this company specializes in helping companies connect with workers who are looking for flexibility. It looks like they also help you connect with freelance positions, which is a bit different than some of the other companies.
This is a super popular staffing agency was originally known for its “Kelly girls”-temporary office workers, usually females. It opened in 1946 and is known as being one of the first temp agencies. Today they hire for a wide range of positions in many industries.
Remote Talent is not as big as some of the other companies and it seems to place mostly tech workers. However, they specialize in almost exclusively placing remote workers.
Robert Half is known for helping people find jobs in the financial services and accounting fields, but they also have positions open in marketing, legal work, customer service in technology. Not all of the jobs are remote, but many are and they sometimes have non-accounting bookkeeping positions.
This is another employment agency that specializes in remote work and seems to have more open positions than Remote Talent. It seems to lean heavily towards tech jobs because of the popularity of remote work with these types of companies, but it’s worth taking a look.
And last, but not least is Working Nomads. Of all the employment agencies listed, this one seems like it’s going to cover all your bases–all remote, a lot of jobs, and a variety of fields, though they don’t specialize in flexible positions in the same way that FlexProfessionals and HireMyMom do. But the cool thing about employment agencies is that you don’t have to choose one! Try them all or check out 1000 Ways to WAHM to see even more companies that hire WAHMS!
